Considered to be the fathers of the silver screen, Auguste and Louis Lumière
played a leading role in the history of cinema and photography thanks to their invention of the cinematograph.

In 1896 in Montreal, these two French inventors organized the first theatrical indoor projection of moving images in Canada, allowing us to enjoy the shared experience of the seventh art for the very first time.
